About SoggySoupii

Hello!! I'm Sophie!! The name SoggySoupii originates from my childhood nickname, Soupa (Soup-uh) and has little to do with real soup. Funny enough, I actually hate most soups...

I created this website because I have always had a passion for the arts. I always dreamed of selling my work, but the pool for prints and stickers is so filled that I wanted to do something unique! I really hope this is successful, because I have such a strong desire to continue working with art in the future. This is my attempt to get a head start, and if I succeed, I can keep this running as my future job!

My passion for fashion is only growing by the day. My current dream is to run a fashion business like this one! So, the fact you're reading this is a dream come true! I found a connection with alternative fashion, which pushed me towards most of the designs I create. I hope to grow my business while keeping my values, I refuse to succumb to greed.

SoggySoupii's Goals

  • Do it RIGHT! ♡ I want to grow this business the right way. I am putting a heavy focus on not supporting the wrong business models. I am working towards sustainability, but for a small business that takes time. Most profits will go towards upgrades such as recyclable packaging or hiring small artists. Items that are damaged, but still wearable, will be donated instead of tossed.
  • Expand meaningfully! ♡ As this business grows, it will never turn towards profit first. The products are designed with passion, and any use of outside help will be ethics first! I hope to build a community that is excited for each drop with constant community centered events. I hope to build a creative outlet for everybody, not just for myself.
  • Infiltrate the common closet ♡ Seeing people wearing my stuff makes me so incredibly happy. Knowing that people out there look at my work fondly is such a dream. I hope that joy grows.

PS: I made that dress for prom!

What You're Supporting

I graduate high school in 2027, and this business is helping me with college. My dream school, SCAD, is incredibly expensive. Some profit will go towards my tuition and expenses, but more importantly, this opens me up to scholarships! I am hoping to study fashion marketing and management along with business, which will only improve this business.

I've always dreamed of making a change, and this is my start. I plan to do business differently, focusing more on ethics than anything else. I hope to challenge the existing fashion system that promotes fast fashion over anything else. Once I become successful enough to make a difference, I will do everything possible to do so.
